Product Preach – Jeffree Star Liquid Lipsticks. SEND NUDES (Collection)

Beauty

I have a strange relationship with lipsticks. They are the thing I collect the most and probably wear the least. In both my fashion style as well as the makeup I wear, one thing that is always pretty much top of my priorities is comfort!  This obsession with my lips still feeling moisturised and effortlessly bare means that I do spend the majority of my existence in Vaseline, Carmex and Nivea Lip butter. Despite owning a full drawer of lip glosses, sticks, paints and stains – you name it, I probably have it, and don’t wear it. That unhealthy ‘buy but rarely wear’ relationship changed drastically when I discovered Jeffree Star and his glorious matte liquid lips.

Product Preach – SophDoesNails X Makeup Revolution Collaboration.

Beauty

Hello lovely people! I hope you are all doing well! Although I am ridiculously invested in the world of YouTube, I’m not one to physically invest in every single collaboration within the web. I often find them over priced, over hyped and corporate feeling, with a clear lack of personality and effort. However, obviously (from the fact I bought both elements!) I saw a clear difference within the SOPH X MAKEUP REVOLUTION collab, and I will tell you for why in this very post.

Product Preach – Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Lip Colour.

Beauty

My Product Preach series has been my longest standing blog ‘format’ to date. Before my Blog-a-break, I used to bash one of these bad boys out once a week without fail! I would like to return to that, as these were such an easy, enjoyable format; which if I remember, you all used to enjoy too! Well, lets start this ball rolling again shall we? First, with a lip product which is my new ‘go-to’; and that really means something in my book, because I have a shed full (metaphorically) of lip sh**. I was so surprisingly blown away by none other than the Rimmel Stay Matte liquid lip colours.

Product Preach: Mary-Lou Manizer.

Beauty

Are you pregnant? No? (If yes, congratulations.) Do you want that ‘pregnant lady glow’ without giving away 18 years of your life? Sounds like a pretty good deal if you ask me, and it may amaze you to know that it can be bought in the form of a highlighter! The one I shall be preaching today is the May-Lou Manizer, and what a little gem she is.

This powder highlighter is truly something else, with the pigmentation of a diamond, prepare to glow your little (or big, no judgement here) behind off. If you’re scrolling through Instagram and you notice yourself thinking ‘that girl’s highlighter is on POINT’, I can tell you it’s 70% likely she’s wearing this bad lad, which is an impressive percentage baring in mind how many highlighters there are on the market.

The packaging is very solid and sassy which I love, and a mirror is ALWAYS helpful in my opinion. I feel like the product itself is very substantial, which I don’t feel is the case with many other highlighters. This is also perfect because the pigmentation is so brilliant, you use half the product, so in effect it should last around four times longer than most – good deal no?

The pigmentation is slightly ridiculous in the best possible way, and the shade is universally wearable. It is a real holy grail product, which you can really count on. It also claims to act as a highlighter, shimmer and eyeshadow all in one, which I can see it having potential in every area; I love a multiple use product and this one is the real deal. For a price of around £15, I’d say it is 100% worth the money for the longevity and constant satisfaction you will receive – prepare to feel luminous!

Product Preach: Kiko Cream Crush Lasting Colour Eyeshadow.

Beauty

Merry christmas eve eve! I’m sending you many festive vibes today as I smack you around the chops with one of my favourite segments on my little section of the inter web – a Product Preach! Today I am preaching an item from a brand which are quite new to me, but of which I have become an instant fan of! I will be speaking of the Kiko Cream Crush Lasting Colour Eyeshadow in Pearly Silver Rose.

This is actually the perfect product to make literally any eye look festively appropriate. I’m quite a matte girl in the world of makeup and I’ve never really been one for bling or glitter – until I found this! At this time of year especially, everyone wants some sparkle to really bring some pizzazz (yes, I’m making that a word.) into their face, and this has enough sparkle to satisfy for a lifetime. The pigment is slightly ridiculous, but in the most beautiful way.

The consistency is similar to that of the Mac paint pots and the colour tattoos from Maybelline, but I’d say it is slightly wetter, so possibly beware if you have particularly oily lids. I actually like it as it feels very comfortable, however, it does mean that it comes off a touch quicker. It’s all about weighing up your priorities personally as a consumer – I, for one, absolutely adore it!

This is the perfect last minute stocking filler for a present, or even to nab for yourself to knock them dead at New year. Whatever the occasion, this is sure to fulfil your festive facial needs!

I wish you a very merry Christmas time, it’s my absolute favourite time and I hope you are making the most of it! It’s actually appalling in the fact that I haven’t watched Elf yet, don’t worry, I will be rectifying this ASAP.
