FashionShoes. Everyone loves shoes! Right? Wrong. I used to hate shoes, or rather could never afford nice shoes. I was the girl who had 3 pairs of white, grey and black Primark plimsoles and that was me for two years. However, thankfully as I have grown older I have slowly accumulated a rather nice ‘capsule’ collection of shoes I can pull out for any occasion. Of course, I haven’t included my few pairs of heels and such because frankly, I very rarely wear them! These are the shoes I get cracking use out of, hopefully it gives you a wee bit of shoe-spiration.

The perfect secret santa gift; quite frankly, who doesn’t love that cosy feeling? And who doesn’t love unicorns?
2) ASOS NINASAURUS DINO Slippers (£14 £9.50)
A fun and extremely comfy novelty gift. The metallic horns do it for me, I literally don’t believe they could be any cuter.
3) Temerity Jones Christmas Candle Pot (£7 £4.90)
Every girl loves candles, they a pretty fool proof christmas present, as you can’t beat a good smell. I LOVE the christmas scents that come out at this time of year, and Temerity Jones do the cutest christmas themes products!
4) Muscle Man McLovin Cork Screw (£10)
Secret santa or stocking filler – you need some fun in there in my opinion. This guy seems like a hell of a lot of fun, so he seems like a good place to start.
5) Self Stirring Mug (£10 £7)
I feel like a mug is bit of an essential in the christmas gift buying process, I have certainly bought one for someone or other every year since I existed. This one has an added gimmick of having a ‘self stirring’ ability – but you can’t beat a gimmick at Christmas.
6) Jack Wills Romanby Long Faux Fur Stole (£59.50)
A more pricey purchase; but fur is in and in with a bang. There will definitely be cheaper alternatives out there at places like New Look, but Jack Wills items are always so well made, so maybe you could treat someone at Christmas.
7) French Connection Boxed Cross Body Bag Gift (£55 £24)
I caught sight of this bag and instantly fell in love. The quality looks divine and the clean, minimal style looks effortlessly stylish. What a little beauty, and what a little bargain.
8) Benefit Do the Hoola in Limited Edition Xmas Sleeve (£28.50 £25)
This set is an absolute dream, in that it contains all of Benefit’s most successful products – all the favourites in one delicious set. From the wonderful They’re Real mascara to the holy grail Hoola bronzer! I’m sure ANYONE would love this for Christmas.
9) ASOS Rose Gold Plated Sterling Silver Hexagon Earrings Necklace and Bracelet Gift Set (£40 £28)
These gift sets are the perfect present for a girl who likes her minimal accessories. They do the set in gold and silver, but I chose the rose gold as that is my personal favourite.
10) FRENDS Layla Oil Slick Headphones (£139.99)
Now these are only for someone willing to splash out on that special someone. I don’t know a single person who doesn’t use headphones, so they are a guaranteed present you will get appreciation for. I adore the FRENDS style headphones – quite literally headphone goals, if you can part with that cash.

1) Kim Kardashian Calendar (£8.99 £6.29)
I get a calendar every single year without fail, so I don’t see the harm in getting one for someone else. Why not Kim K?
2) Original Metal Spud Gun (£6 £4)
My brother owned one of these back in the day, and loved to remind me of this fact on a daily basis by pummelling me with small pieces of potato. By this gift at your own risk.
3) Spin Shot Game (£6 £4)
A pretty uni sex gift, and a fun one to buy for someone you party hard with , as you are sure to get enjoyment from it as well.
4) The Giant Hangover Mug (£7)
Another mug; can’t beat them in my opinion. Even more amazing, you can’t beat a giant mug; and any Sports Direct mug owner will agree with me, so why not expand the collection?
5) Uppercut Deluxe Hair Matt Clay Gift Set (£35 £24.50)
I won’t lie, I put this in because the bottles of shampoo and conditioner looked like they were made out of wood and I found this too visually pleasing to ignore. What a beautifully manly set to open on Christmas!
6) Ted Baker Wallet & Cardholder Gift Set (£50 £35)
Christmas, man, and wallet pretty much go hand in hand in a sentence, and life in general. Add a card holder into the equation and you have the formula for a happy chappy.
7) Nike Internationalist Trainers 631754-012 (£67 £46.50)
I like the monochrome-ness (?) of these trainers, shouldn’t get any surprise “I don’t like the colour” with this buy, because they are rather lovely by anyones standards.
8) Casio A159WGEA-1EF Gold Digital Watch (£41)
A very classic watch of which I am a large fan! Watches can be quite personal so maybe ask your buyer in advance.
9) Diesel Bawre Leather Look Belt (£30 £21)
Love a good Diesel belt, I bought the boyfriend a dodgy one while on my holidays – maybe splash out on the real deal at Christmas though.
10) Emporio Armani 3 Pack Boxer Trunks (£35)
Now the definition of a good pair of boxers, comes in Calvin Klein form, however I must confess that ASOS’ Calvin variety is rather abysmal. They do some other lovely brands though like Hugo Boss, and of course Emporia Armani.

Fashion, OOTDThe raspy chill of winter is lurking, and it’s that time of the year when nipping out to the shop in a t-shirt and leggings is out of the question – time to bring out those coats! I am a sucker for coats as they complete an outfit and are one thing I am happy to spend a bit more money on, as they’re a winter essential! Here are five types of coats, perfect for these finger numbing months when that extra layer is a must.
1. Biker Jacket – Miss Selfridge
I love this style of coat, even though I understand it’s not for everyone. Some may think it is quite a masculine shape but that is why I enjoy mixing it with more feminine under garments (under the coat, not underwear, naughty.) to make the outfit more balanced. We all need that coat that just makes the world a cozier place, and that is exactly what this is for me. The fur collar and thick lining make for a warm hug, type of experience whenever I put it on. This oversized look is very on trend right now and a style I’m in love with.

2. Boyfriend Jacket / Blazer – New Look
Grey is the new black this season (Although I still love my black) so when this jacket came on sale I just had to snap it up. Quick side note, if you ever have spare money in the Summer time, there are always some amazing deals on coats which would be three times the price in the Winter. For example, this coat was originally £30, I got it for £12 in the Summer sale; if that’s not a bargain I don’t know what is! It’s brilliant quality and even if I’d bought this for its original price, I’d be extremely happy.

3. Leather Jacket – New Look Vintage
Everyone deserves a real leather jacket in their lives. This was my big christmas present around two years ago and I have never gotten so much use out of a present in my life. I am on the side of ‘real leather is best’ when it comes to this argument as it is SUCH a durable material; it can literally last a life time and actually look better with age. Mine is an interesting, almost suede texture, it isn’t shiny like many other leather jackets from renowned shops like Topshop etc. However, I love that mine is original in this sense, as many leather jackets look exactly the same as one and other, which can be very a bit boring. Had I bought it myself I would have probably bought it bigger (My oversized mind takes over), but I’m so glad it is fitting as it is honestly so flattering in arm and body length. Just perfect.

4. Duster Coat – ASOS
Duster coats are the fresh new trend of this winter. They are bold and beautiful, but a daring style that can be difficult to pull off. I definitely wouldn’t recommend a duster coat if you’re just starting off a coat collection as they don’t go with all outfits due to differences in length. On the other hand, if you’re looking for something a bit different, the right outfit can look unbelievable.My friend received this for her birthday a week ago and I couldn’t not include it, it’s just too fabulous. The colour and style together look so elegant and regal, if you can’t tell, I love it.

5. Peter Pan Collar Jacket – Miss Selfridge
This is a lovely, innocent style which is snug around the neck so great for warmth. It’s a coat which actually looks good zipped up, which can’t be said for many other styles (e.g biker jacket is a no go.). This Peter Pan coat is also from Miss Selfridge as my biker jacket is as my friend and I bought them together. They had the most amazing range out last Winter, and when they both went on sale during mid November, we couldn’t believe our luck. They have followed the same format this year as there is currently a ‘Winter Wowzer’ on their website and in stores. It’s definitely worth looking for a deal, you never know what you’ll find!
Coat – Miss Selfridge / Skinny Jeans – River Island / Pumps – Dorothy Perkins
I realise that none of these coats are waterproof or even have a hood, but they are all heart warminlgy cosy, and that is my top priority in the Winter time, despite how unpractical that can be!
